Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has evolved, to a great extent, as a design tool. It is now more widely used and has become an almost essential component when it comes to design and analysis of fast–paced products such as medical devices, electronics, valves, hydraulic controls, wearables, etc. Product designers are faced with a lot more complexity and design challenges as nearly all products today have integrated electronics and are more connected. Engineering management is continuously concerned with how to develop efficient processes and standard practices of applying CFD simulation to optimize the product design cycle.
